by Phil Gilbert
Things we can do for you
Whether you’re a beginner or wishing to improve your guitar technique, I offer one-to-one lessons in a relaxed, friendly environment. I offer tuition in Rock, Pop, Blues, chord-rhythm work, lead technique and improvisation.
I teach in my studio at home. Alternatively, I can travel to you at a slightly higher rate for a 30 minute or 1 hour lesson dependent upon travel distance and time. Please contact me with your location to get an estimate of the price.
Using a combination of simple notation, tab and memory, I will tailor the lessons to suit your needs. You’ll soon be playing well and on the road to playing to a standard you’ll need to join a band.

What our customers say
Phil is very friendly and easy to approach. With the continuation of guitar lessons from Phil, I am hoping I will be able to play just as good as him one day.”
“Phil has great patience and shares my enthusiasm. As I approach 60, he continues to instil belief that it is never too late to keep learning. He conveys excellent theoretical knowledge and personal insight from a lifetime of live performance. I would strongly recommend Phil to anyone who wants to take up guitar or improve their skills. ”
